whats funny is how he acts like he has never done it. Jeff Gordon said it best when he said Stewart has problems with everything unless he's the one doing it. Then its ok. Stewart's always been a bit of an ass, but when did he become such a whinner? He was also mad about the media and nascar saying Dale Junior and Jeff G. are the two biggest names in the sport.

David Pearson won some championships, that doesn't mean his name is synonymous with the sport like Richard Petty is.
He needs to get over himself.
Oh, and NASCAR is by-God fucking lame and boring, I don't see how anyone watches that shit. It's a 3-hr commercial...

I used to think the same way, but I love to watch it now. The Fox broadcasts are alot better because they are more explanitory about what goes on during the race with the cutaway car and computer visuals.

I'll only watch the last 20 laps of a race, the rest can be seen on the highlights.
And yeah, someone needs to tell him that rubbin' is racin'!

Just because you are entertained by a few different shots and old Dee dubya telling you well what is going on here is this guy is trying to pass him and he don't want to let him...
I agree with Danny, it's a loooooooooooooong boring 3 to 4 hour commercial.

some of the people try to do it on the corners, not just the straight areas. That's what causes people to spin out.

I've tried to get into it, but to me, it's just a bunch of left turns.
One thing that does bother me....is when it's called a sport. Ice skating is closer to being a sport than car racing is.

It will truly be stock car racing when they revert to cars that are manufactured for the masses with RWD...not just using the nose, hood, roof, and decklid of a FWD car to match a template...
As far as Stewart is concerned...

the ONLY NASCAR i can stand to watch is the road courses like Sears Point and such. it takes a lot more skill to go 150-170mph and make a left followed by a right a half second later on a flat surface then makeing banked lefts for 3-4 hours

You've obviously never raced before. Some of the idiots out there are a danger and need to be handled accordingly.
Anyone who does ANYTHING that risks their life every time they strap in is going to do what it takes to minimize the risks...

Its a part of plate racing. Despite his bitching and NASCAR catering to his every demand now, its still going to occur even though NASCAR has stated they are going to "watch" for it and deal penalties out accordingly.

I do agree with that. Too bad he's a fucking jerk. No matter what he does, he'll always be remembered as a panty-waist asshole.
And I do like to watch NASCAR road racing. It's funny as hell to watch overweight, undertired, overpowered cars bumping and grinding through the turns. That kicks ass. But the big ovals are 'plated to the point where no one can pass unless the guy in front screws up his line, and the short tracks are too tight to pass. Boring.

Yeah, just like video game racing with no damage...
Those cars can ram eachother and have no significant front damage.
I personally saw those comments (although with poor tact) as a message to the sport that if you want to bump somebody you 'should' leave with a mark.
As of now you can run right up on the rear and have ZERO negative affect on the rest of your race downforce and aero wise. Take out the metal bars behind the bumper covers and I'm sure you would see the amount of severe bump drafting decrease cause you wouldn't want to damage your nose all race long.
Package all of that together at 190mph and of course you are going to have people do it at the wrong times and create potentially large wrecks.

Take the supports out of the front bumpers like they have been saying and see what happens

So what NASCAR team are you racing for again? Yeah.
While we are at it, how about we put them in dresses and pink shoes. Until you remove the plates, bump drafting is a way of life at Daytona and 'Dega.

I saw Tony whining about that after the Bud shootout last sunday. He was saying "someone else is gonna die if the bump drafting doesn't stop". I am sure someone else will die someday because racing is not by any means safe. The drivers know that every time they suit up and climb in the car, it could be their last time. They choose to do it and thats what they get paid for. Bump drafting is part of racing at the plate tracks. If you can't deal with it, give up your high paying job with millions in endorsements, and find another job.

I think today's race showed how much of a pussy-ass coward Tony Stewart really is. There was no justification for what he did today's race. Suspensions and hefty fines are the only way to get through to him.

it looks like Tony is back to his old self. Last year he calmed down didn't say much or start to many fights with anyone out there. But this year he is off to a good start by not making to many friends out there on the track.
I will amet though he pulled a pretty nice save when Kyle Bush gave him alittle bump. I thought he was gone for sure.

RUNNING PEOPLE OFF THE ROAD . . . that's exactly what I mean. And you're agreeing with it just proves the point.
At least when a Biker does it on the highway, we're not going 190 mph

Last week Tony was whining about somebody else was gonna die. Then today he purposely wrecks Kenseth at 190 mph???? At the end of the race he started off saying Kenseth always thinks he did it on purpose, then he concluded by saying that Kenseth started it and he finished it. Bumping is part of racing and I hope Kenseth sends Stewert's bitch ass into the wall next week.

So you are saying I run cars off the road on the highway when I hardly ever ride on the highway and I always save my hard riding for the track. (sig pic is at the track)

He should have been black flagged out of the race today, suspended indefinetly, fined heavily, and beaten to a pulp! He had no regard for someones life today, or the lives of his fellow drivers and the spectators. Pushing a guy onto the grass at speed is disgracefull. I'd like to see him try that on Dale Sr. if he was still alive. They would not have to suspend him, he'd be in the hospital sipping his dinner through a straw.

I'm wondering the same thing.
I ride on the highway all the time and have yet to "run someone off the road" that I am aware of and I think I would notice something like that
I'm thinking he's just like all those people who don't ride that assume we all know each other just because we have a bike

Its not like this is the first time Tony Stewart has done shit like this. I remember 2 years ago when he intentionally rammed Kasey Kahne from behind and took him out of first place and the race. Kahne's crew then walked down pit road and began to whip the shit out of Stewart's crew. That is what should have happened today.

Just like stated earleir.......... he bitched and moaned about it. Then he was the very first one to get penalized for what he was moaning about. Go figure. He is a bad ass driver, not taking that from him........ but I wish one of the media people would play his complaining tape in front of him, and then show him the race footage and ask him the difference in it. I bet he comes back with " it wasnt my fault". Or it was an accident.
