Dallas is playing ok so far...they're 23-19 in the early going. I'm posting about DJ Mbenga though. Several of us mentioned in the other thread that we hoped to see him play some more. Well, he got the 1st quarter call tonight and in just over 5 mins, he already has 3 blocks and made a shooter alter his shot on another attempt. He is really playing awesome! All the centers have been playing well as of late, but Damp or Diop need to have a couple minutes slashed so that Mbenga can get 6-8 mins a game.

Mavs have jumped out to a 41-27 lead early on in the 2nd period. Looking good.

Spurs lost tonight and Mavs will take care of bidness against the Knicks. Should come down to the wire between the two best teams in the West. The Mavs are a very focused team right now and are looking to prove they are the real deal. I think the loss to Denver will further motivate them to close out and get a win tonight.
