well headed down to noproblem raceway last night to make some passes after the tune/converter....probably shouldve done a little more practicing on the street, but oh well... ;)

anyways, made 3 passes, the last was the best...a 13.1@103. that was with a 1.86 60 ft. car left pretty clean, but i think it has more in it outta the hole...the 2nd pass i left pretty agressively (stalled it up to around 2800 and dropped the hammer) and wheelhopped my 60 ft away.

all in all i was pleased to have gotten a new best, but the car feels really good since switching to an sct tune along with the new converter. i know itll turn a 12, i just think i may need to do a couple things to add a little more hp to the bottom line and get my mph up some.

anyways, heres my mods in case some were wondering

2005 GT auto

C&L cold air kit
SCT tune
4.10 gears
bassani o/r x-pipe
bassani axle back
TCI stall
nittos (had 17 psi last night)

Pretty good. Get some underdrives, Steeda Charge Motion Control delete plates, and some slicks for easy mid to high 12's.

not that far ahead of ya, but that was among the first things on my list...although im gonna take the less obvious route...i had welds on my 2001 and tho they did look sweet, aluminum rims+roads in new orleans=bent rims/broke rims. also, i want to keep the car looking as stock as possible and run it on the track as it sits on the street.

ive looked into BMR's stuff and they have a few things that can shed some pounds off the front of the car, not to mention help me plant the power i have. ive also considered JPCRacings 1 piece driveshaft, but its soooo expensive. i might just call ole justin and see if the price has come down from when i talked to him when i was in ft worth.

M/T drag radials alone would get you into the 12's!!!
Very nice times
