Anyone know the schedule for Denton. I was thinking of going there this coming weekend as it is closer to me (Lewisville). Their website said they were open last friday, but show nothing else for the rest of the year yet.

I heard that also... At least it was open on Friday. I am sure they will update when they can.

I went out to Denton on Friday. I spun threw the 60 ft. My times were 1.7 in the 60. At Redline on Sunday they were 1.58. I will not go back to Denton. Too many hillbillys w/ there beaters. Track is very bumpy. :(

Crap, that's the closest track to me. K-dale is 1.5 hours away :(

OTOH if a new owner takes over maybe they'll make some improvements.

i got an email from the track:
Here is what is happening at Denton Dragway this week:

Friday Night Test and Tune: Gates open at 7 PM. Admission is $10 plus $5 for a tech card to race. Race until 11 PM.

Weather permitting, Denton Dragway will also be open next Friday (February 10) for Test and Tune from 7 to 11 PM.

The schedule will be posted soon, as well as banquet information.

Ya, denton is turning out to be a $hithole. I went out there last weekend and i got there around 10 and they tried charging me $25 to race, I said bull$hit I'm going to pay $25 bucks and she was like oh I mean uhh $15. Then they lost two of my timeslips, and shut down one of the lanes about 10:40ish. Someone needs to buy that place out and make it right. Anyone else go out there last friday? I thought i saw an 03/04 cobra run an 8.84 :eek:.
