Sunday Kennedale Results

I finally made it out sunday, ran a best 8.16, which was better than I thought i would run, the drag radials hooked great, 1.93 60 foot time; I know the time is nothing to brag about but considering I drive a vert. cobra (3700 lb car), and hadnt raced in 8 yrs. Not too bad for just a few mods, pulley, exhaust, and a tune, I really want to break into the 7's, so looks like will be going turbo next or porting the blower and NOS. I had to dial in a 8.60 in the bracket eliminator, because kennedale required a helmet for 8.30 or better, so i had to slow down, almost made it to the finals, the guy that beat me dialed in within two tenths of a second better than me, i just ran it for the fun of it, since I had never bracket raced before :D .

yeah but i was glad i didnt go out that way we almost went but i was like hell no after seeing the police helicopter flyby, I heard someone rammed the gate when everyone was boxed in, we went the other way and raced lot of 03 04 cobras raced or were out there, was still fun, I was able to meet up with a lot of my friends out there.

It did good couldn't get it to build boost on the line but it ran fast enough to have tech look at me funny when I drove out. :D

yeah i remember the car ran great, mine boosted real good on the first run, which was my best, seemed to go downhill from there lol :D
