going to make it in the playoffs??? If somebody knocks out the spurs we might make it to the finals IMO.

They look really good and I am getting excited. I'd say were gonna face the Spurs second round and if we beat them we go to the Finals

Spurs/Mavs in the second round is almost a given they way they are going.

Until the Mavs learn to play defense under the basket, they will not make it to the finals.

It'll probably be Spurs/Mavs 2nd round, and thats never good news.

They will win the championship this year. They are able to play 'D' now and win a tight, low scoring game now.

Actually,this is one year the Spurs dont scare me that bad.We have the deepest bench in the league and the Spurs have Finley and Van Excel who are way past their prime.It obviously won't be easy but our chance this year looks very good barring any unforseen injuries.

well if they ever get everyone healthy at the same time and Dirk pulls through when it comes playoff time like he as yet to do, they will get to the finals with Detroit and go into 7 games

LOL at the Mavs have the deepest bench in the league. Hello have you looked on the spurs bench lately. 90% of the spurs bench would be a starter on any team in the NBA. This is the time of the year that the spurs always pull it together and step it up a notch during their little rodeo road trip as we call it down in SA. The only team that has a chance against the spurs is Detriot and god help them if they get hurt cause they don't have a bench whats so ever.

Finley,Barry,Mohammed,Udrih, Van Exel, and Horry(hurt) verses Harris,Van Horn,Stackhouse,Dampier, Daniels, and Armstrong. Sorry, I will take the Mavs bench anyday on my team.
Anyone on the bench can start in the NBA.Doesn't mean they can win.

As far as Dirk goes, we need his scoring still but other players are showing they can step up and score in games when he isn't on.The development of Howard is taking a huge load off Nowitzki.

IMO I think the mavs can do good as long as they dont get the suns cuz they can never seem to beat the suns when they have Amarie Staudamier(however u spell it)

That was the quietest game I have ever been to. The first 3 quarters were about as quiet as being at the library. When the Lakers finally came back and took the lead, you started hearing a buzz and then it got better when Dallas ran off from them in the 4th. I'm glad the Mavs won, but what's wrong with Dallas fans?
