Well I went to the track last night with a previous best of 13.8 at 108 on crappy Futura Radials. Before I could never hook up and would have no better than a 2.28 60 ft time. I had never driven on slicks before and WOW...I like. Last night I ran on some new M/t ET Drags and cut a 12.8 with a 1.70 60ft time!!! WOOO HOO. Now I just need some gears and a TT setup! or maybe some spray...or all? Oh yea this is on stock suspension...so maybe I should do that too....

Thanks....Yea I want to maybe do a single or twin turbo setup. Or spray I haven't decided. But if I could do a single turbo kit for not too much without changing any internals on my motor I would be happy. I just want to get into the mid to low 11's. After that I will be happy until it is no longer the daily driver. I still need to do suspension and gears....but a turbo would be cool even without the suspension and gears :).

hose it and focus on driving... what was your mph on that 12.8 run? surely it wasn't 108!?

I agree with Cooter, if your cutting a 1.7 60' with stock gears leave the suspension alone, get some 3.73's and spray then focus on driving that thing.

I'm still trying to fix my driver mod.

No I am sorry....the timeslip that has the 12.8 on it is one of two that listed none for the 1/4 mile mph....? Don't know why. I had a run of 13.1 or 13.4 at 108 though. Don't remember which and don't wanna dig through all my timeslips tonight to find out which.

Oh and to whoever said I should get 3.73s....I already have em.
