Was doing a little test and tune when the damn N20 solonoid hung open at an Idle for about 15 seconds...either blew head gasket or burned hole in piston. I've never had such shitty luck like this...

I was drivnig by and saw someone running towards the trunk as fast as they could. I was like wtf is going on over there. Got out of the car and there was a nasty smell. I hope it didn't hurt it to bad!

pressure was 1000 or so. no filter on a brand new fill and a brand new solonoid!!!

i'll probably tear it down within the next day or two :(

Damn that sucks! Probably froze the solenoid open with high bottle pressure.. I even had one where I screwed in the fitting and a shaving from the thread got inside and hung the valve open! :eek:

yup....but hey, we got the cobra running gooood... tuned on it a little and replaced a rocker arm. totally different car.
