Wireless router help.......

I just purchased a Linksys WRT54G wireless router for my home. I have Verizon DSL and the router is having problems with the internet connection. I've tried to set it up as PPPoE and entered my info (username and password) and nothing. All the leds on the front look good, and my connection without the router is fine (obviously). I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, this should be an easy insatall, but maybe I'm overlooking something. Any help is appriciated.

Eventally I will try to logon to the internet on my laptop through the router, and it better go a little smoother.

Why not just set it up to Automatic configuration on DHCP?

I know with cable modem I had to power it off for a bit then power back up. Since you changed the hardware (mac address) its seeing you may need to power it all down then bring it back up.

I figured it out. I tried PPPoE and with Verizon this should work, but it did not. I set it back to auto DHCP and cloned my MAC adress, now all is well. Stupid Verizon..............
