I have a Dell 600 with the ATI vid set and want to put RH on it. Should i just stuck with old faithfull RH9? or do one of the newer versions? and if so, which one?

I've run Core 4 on a D600 laptop. 9 is way old. I'd look at the fedora releases if your wanting to stick with RH. I've also liked Debian and Ubuntu that is Debian based.

yup, RH9 is like wanting to run windows 95 or even Windows 3.1.
