Whats this i hear that 10-15 min in a suana/steam room is like 30 min on a tread mill or whatever...


Looking at losing mid section and the cardio is not just doing it... Is the Sauna/steam room that big of a differance?

Not sure about the suana/steam room thing? If that was true all the oriental people in my club would be at 0% bodyfat ...they live in those things! :D

YOU LOSE WATER THAT ALL. but you gain it back quik..its what athletes do to make weight....but they gain it right back quik..........eat right and cardio........try to eat every 2 hr

Sauna is a good thing for numerous reasons but not for weight loss, most is just fluids that you sweat out.

Intake less calories than you burn. Diet and exercise. It is that simple. How you want to do it is up to you. Biking, swimming, lifting, running etc.

Forget the sauna, take a look at your diet and caloric intake to lose body fat. The sauna will help you lose short-term weight by making you sweat out excess water weight, but it does nothing for fat loss, and the weight comes back as soon as you body re-hydrates.

You HAVE to get your heart going.. just start walking for starters, then power walk, get that to a jog and then start running.. If you have a gym membership, get on the treadmill or 'liptical. Basically do anything that you "enjoy" that gets your heart going. Diet also plays a big role

I was 173 on october 31..I was 157 Jan 2 (currently).. All I did was cut down on junk food and get on the 'liptical 4 times a week for 25 mins and drink 5 bottles of water (20oz) every day. Good luck!

Diet and run will get rid of that mid section. Start counting calories, and stop your sugar intake, don,t eat late and then go to bed.
