Video Card Question

I am trying to justify upgrading video cards. I currently have a 9800Pro, is it with the ~$200 to upgrade to an X700 or 6800GT?

Someone who is more up to date on this fill me in.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I've decided it against it right now. However, do a search. Someone posted a 6800GT for like 159 or something. There is a hack/mod that makes the car faster...etc..etc That is one hell of a deal. *I* just have other priorities at the moment.

My overall plan is just to let my machine/video card get way out dated and then upgrade the whole system.

I bought my x800 XL for 200$ I bought an artic cooling kit and now i am bout to purchase water cooling shit.

After reading a bit more, I decided to forego it. Just bought a new heatsink/fan set up for my 9800 :)

they may o/c nice, but they still dont have the pixel pipelines that the higher-end cards do. you may match the clock speed, but not the amount of pixels
