im starting up again getting ready for the 2006 dallas desperado season. im looking to gain about 15-20 lbs and cut my 40 yd speed down about 2 tenths and my verticle up about 2 in.

so basically i wanna see what ppls workout programs are and get some ideas on what i want to do.

do you play for them now...or do u just want to be that big to watch the games....i would say that you should eat all you can work out hard....and run alot of sprints....easy way to put it...what do you weigh now...and whats your 40....if its not under 4.5 ish they wont even give you a second look.

im not sure about your Speed but i can make you gain some weight im at 200LBS now (if you remember i started off at your size) i need a new partner anyway so give me a call
my program consist of lots of weight and lots of eating :D

i am trying out next nov. i went and watched the past 2 tryouts and i pretty much know what i need to do.

david, me and jaime just started going up to that cedar hill rec center. im gonna start working out up there on monday.

You can work on your verticle jumping by doing Air Alert. All the guys I was friends with in college basketball swear by it and say that its nearly impossible to finish.

The rest is just a matter of working hard and eating right. Talk to a personal trainer and a nutritionist about what you should do to meet your goals.

Several guys I played ODP soccer w/ used that Air Alert thing. It works! I used to out jump almost everyone and they convincingly out jumped me several months later. It will also help you w/ your 40. Especially your jump on the start.
Like Venom said, diet and hard work will kill tha rest.

i just started to bulk up and in the past three weeks i have gained 15 pounds. I just do a nice basic work out with enough weight to bring me to failure on the last rep of the last set. i take CE2 andtake protein at the end of my work out.

15lbs in 3 weeks? How much of that is lean muscle?

I'm not going for cutting up right now just getting the bulk for the foundation. I've gained all muscle and some definition. i eat a lot of protien and then have protien after i work out so that helps the muscle a lot.
