Went back to Ennis this morning with a few more mods, the most major one being a Bassani x-pipe, which got rid of the burbles and really made the exhaust sound smoother. We also smoothed out the throttle body input by taking a Dremel tool to it and removed the screen.

10:43 AM: Run 1, I accidentally left the traction control on: 12.993 @ 108.61. The ET stinks but the mph is up by 0.9 mph over 2 weeks ago. We are on the some good runs maybe.

11:28 AM: Run 2, 12.730 @ 108.91. Now that’s more like it! A 0.115 sec ET decrease and a 1.34 mph increase.

12.55 PM: Run 3, 12.761 @ 108.47

Best 60 ft was 1.922, worst was 2.1 (with the traction control on!!!)

The “free” mods are running out. Guess the big bucks mods are next. Not sure of what I want to do, but am leaning toward a cam (easier one) or a stall (harder but not impossible for a first time, just a lot of stuff to drop). Both should yield substantial gains.

BTW, I weighed the car and without me, it weighs 3151 lbs. That is pretty light compared to my 3500-3600 lb. Stangs.

Best run I saw was that '93 Cobra beating the Viper GTS ....
Anyone know what mods the Cobra was running?

Nice times!

I'm assuming you don't have headers yet - I'd recommend that be the next thing....nice gain to be had, and LG has a KICK ASS set that they're just getting out. :)

Are you referring to the 93 Cobra with Flames?
