program to equelly split a picture up.

i have a picture that is huge, and i would like to print it out, but when i do, you can not see any detail. it is a satilite veiw of some terrain. i was wanting to split it into say 12 equal sections and print each by them selves. does such a thing exist?

photoshop would probably do it. the cheaper programs are a PITA. either that or just re-size it. depends on how much detail you want.

as much as i can get, i was thinking of just putting on a disc and taking it to KINKOS

i would try taking it somewhere to get a nice print, its B&W so it shouldn't be crazy expensive...
