That is NOT R1LE paint. You can get a regular R1 as well as the '06 R6 with that pait scheme. That paint is the 50th anniversary edition for Yamaha. They brought it back for MotoGP's return to the US last year and had it on their YZR-M1's and I believe on their proddy bikes too

Its not "R1" paint but it IS definitly A Yamaha paint scheme.

Yamaha has used the aspen yellow with the Checked black/white stripe scheme since the early seventies.




Thats just wrong. Like having SS rally stripes on a mustang.

I heard they were trying to find a way to make yamaha faster and actually win some race's. It's a good idea, take the best bike out, and make people think it's a yamaha.

Since most of you asking why Yamaha paint scheme It's simply because I am the only kawi on the track and I intentionaly want to make fun of my fellow R6 racers (10 of them ), and I like yellow too, so what the hell. As Rossi always says " What if I never tried..?". I like to do something poeple won't do, just like getting rid off my undertails.
