dead Ipod

soo i was listening to my Ipod at work when it just suddenly shut off. at first i was thinking maybe it just ran out of battery and died. however after puting it on the dock once i got home and nothing happened ive decided something else is wrong. any ideas? its a mini btw

tried resetting it?, on a 4th gen you push and hold the middle button and menu button at the same time...
