Xbox 360 owners in here...

are your 360's loud? mine gets loud then quiet, then loud again...wondering if this is normal... :confused:

my buddy matt has a 360 and it won't read the games half the time. thats just one of man bugs in the system. like loudness, freezeing up, not reading the games. thats the problem because fuckstick bill gates wanted to try and sell 3 million before xmas. and so they rushed production and thats what you get ....a shitty product. thats why you wait a few months so you know you will get a good chance on a better system.

yea i guess its the fan, i did have it on from 9am till about 2 am... :p it comes on and then shuts off, but its real loud...

is it laying on a flat smooth surface? cause if it's on the carpet, or something to that effect it'll overheat... :confused:

Mine is loud when I'm playing a game.. The fan kicks on to make sure the thing stays cool. I've got it on a wire rack so that air flows around it just fine.

I also have an issue with the console reading discs. They keep coming up as DVDs for some reason. I've had to physically unplug the machine to get it to work.

its position is standing up on a entertainment center with plenty of air movement...so far mine hasnt had any problems reading my games...

mine i sno louder then my modded xbox that has the fans overclocked to 2x. It could be I dont know what loud really s though :o

The fan noise it normal... I actually think it is the DVD drive that makes the noise, cause it does it when it reads the disc, right when you turn it on, and when you go to the menu, it slows down, like a DVD drive read... That is normal Fred, no biggie...

Yeah, my regular Xbox disc drive is louder than some other's xbox's. But from the way I understand it, they've used different "model's" of drives over the years.
