Road rash repair/plastic repair

My bike has some minor rash on it that i want to touch up... I was just gonna replace the fairing, but im having a hard time trying to find a used one..

The rash is not bad at all, but i still want to get my bike looking 100% mint which it does other wise..

What is the best way to go about fixing the rash??? Just sand it down and paint it??

Replace it IMO. I've tried to redo plastics before, and its hard to hold. It will last for a little bit, but eventually gives. What kind of bike, and plastic?

2002 gsxr750... I haven't had any luck finding any used farings for it.. Plus i need to find the same color of faring... It's not cracked or anything.. Could i just sand it down and paint it with touch up paint?

You can't find plastics for that?!?! :eek: Where are you looking? Is it the blue and white gixxer? If so, that white is hard to match.

Yeah i've been watching ebay and gixxer forums for some, but i can't seem to find any.. Yes it's the blue and white color scheme... The part that i need to touch up is blue though..
