laptop computer help?

I recently bought a DELL laptop for my oldest daughter but I can't get to work(actually my wife and she usually sets up the computer's) is there anybody near the mesquite area that can come by and look at it and maybe help get it going? :cool:

Is it a new card that you just installed, or was it already installed when you bought the laptop?

I am in the Mesquite/Garland area. But you have to bring it to my house heh.

By internet card do you mean the ethernet adapter? Have you tried removing the adapter and installing using the latest drivers?
