I haven’t collected sports cards in years, but I was digging in my attic and found a whole crap load of stuff… I can’t believe all the stuff I collected when I was a kid. What a pack-rat I was. HAHA.. Here is just a few pics of my stuff including a really old Muhammad Ali sports illustrated..

Anyone know of a good sports card forum??? I was thinking about ebaying some of my stuff and the safest way to package my cards for shipment…

Also is it better to sell cards as a group lot. like all my Jordan cards, Bo Jackson, Magic Johnson….

Thanks,
Scoot

Someone just told me about that site about 10 mi before i saw your post, but after looking around on there it might not be what you are looking for. It's more of a buy/sell site.

I've got boxes still wrapped in the plastic unopened, considering trying to sell on ebay but I'll probably keep them till I'm 40...wonder what the gum is gonna taste like then hehe.

My son and I opened a few 1982 Topps packs that I still had. I ate one of the sticks of gum and it just instantly went to a chalky powder... it took 3 Dr. Peppers to get that shit out! Not recommended, but if anyone is interested, I've got a TON of unopened baseball card packs from various years.

I buy cards off of ebay all the time. I still have boxes of cards from when I was a kid. I've never really outgrown it (as dorky as it is). I still love it!

I've been collecting NHL cards since I was little. I recently dug through some cards I bought over the summer and found doubles of a Sydney Crosby rookie card that I had. Sold the double on Ebay for $250.

Ya, I even have a clear pack with Mark McGuire's rookie on top (a few other unopened packs with some good cards too). I've got tons or rare cards, game used cards, and graded cards. I've got a Barry Bonds rookie graded 10. It was one of 700 that they actually put a piece of his bat in the graded plastic along with the card.

Sure do... want some?

Well, most places (baseball card shops) won't give you an honest opinion since they will likely try to give you half of what they tell you they're worth. And with the rise of Ebay, graded cards get all the hype unless it's just something off-the-wall. Check ebay to see if any of those cards are being auctioned. I would also grab a Beckett (baseball card magazine) from the grocery store and look them up in the price guide.
