Very nice looking helmet. I saw it a few weeks ago while looking at new helmets. Let us know what your impressions are of it. I've never tried on an AGV helmet before and I would be curious as to what you have to say.

Ok, it arrived today. When I first picked the box up I found that it was LIGHT! Pulled it outta the box with a huge grin on my face. It was really sharp.

Pros: Cool Design, VERY light weight, great materials, excellent quality, and my favorite... The 2 posts on the shield where you can put clear racing tearoffs...;)

Things I didn't like... The red in the paint is more like orange. :( But once in light it is redder. 2: IT IS TOO TIGHT! I went by the sizing chart and I was wrong. While putting the helmet on it was WAY WAY to small. My ears were mashed up against my head and my forhead was getting pressure put on it. AGV helmets run SMALL. I ordered another a bigger one so that should fit.

Overall: This is an excellent helmet. Very well made and is perfect for those track days. ;) I would reccomend it. And if Valentino Rossi wears one then they must be good! Any other questions just let me know. And if anybody wants to buy the one I am sending back... Send me a PM! Take care.

What size did you order this time? I'd like to check it out and I would be interested to see what your impressions are once you have ridden with it for a while. I've had an older Shoei which I didn't like because it didn't fit my head right (shape). Had an Arai Signet that fit me perfectly. Picked up an HJC AC11 as a cheap second helmet that fits good but not as good as the Arai. And my last one was an Arai RX7 which has been the best helmet I've owned so far.

Probably going to sell the RX7 to try another brand and I'm narrowing it down to either an AGV or a Suomy.

Probably going to sell the RX7 to try another brand and I'm narrowing it down to either an AGV or a Suomy. I ordered an XL and that was too small so I ordered the XXL! YIKES  BUCKET HEAD! Well I know a guy who has an older V-Flyer and swears by it. He bought an extra one for his passenger and an extra one for him just in case. He's been riding for 6 years and thinks out of the top of the line helmets, the AGV is the lightest, quietest, Coolest (temp) and most durable helmet on the market. He swears he will never get a different helmet ever. I would have tried his on but it was a Large and that would have been super tiny! I should get mine Giant size AGV on Wed and since shipping services are closed Sa, Su, and Mon then I will hold on to this XL until Wed.

Oh and EDIT: The AGV's are small for what they say on the website. I wear an XXL in HJC and that is the new size i ordered. so whatever you wear in HJC that is what you would wear in AGV. ;)

I hate it when you order a nice helmet and it does not fit. I ordered a NICE Simpson racing helmet, got it in, hated it so bad. It would lift on my head at the 1/4 traps (dragster keep in mind) and my chin would touch the bar if i barely moved it. Sold it to a buddy for almost full price after using it twice.

Now I find the helmet locally, try it on make sure i like it and it fits, and order it from my buddy in Calif. (he can beat local prices). :D
