comparing all these teams to USC. I know USC is good and all but its not like they are the best football team in college history. I mean this season they didnt lose a game but they also didnt blow out every team they play. Hell they almost (I think they did) lost a game this year. So I just dont see the big deal with this USC team. But Texas will end that Jan 4th when they beat USC. :D

Almost lost 2 of them, actually.
Fresno State and Notre Dame.

I don't think its all about this season, I think its more about the last 3-4 years.

I think they said something about the past two years since they havent lost a game. But I thought they are comparing teams from the past to this year team?

They are comparing individual years though.
USC 05 Vs. Other individual years
What I don't get is how they are trying to compare on an even lineup base. You can't compare teams from more than 20 years or so without excluding bias' like technological and health/nutritional advancements.
Stats for Stats they aren't as good as a few of the teams ESPN has put them up against... But their ace in the hole is always 'But hey, they couldn't keep up with reggie bush could they'
I don't mind comparing USC 03-05 as a whole with the greats, but USC 05 isn't exactly the most dominate year during thier run. maybe the best collection and culmination of players, but not the greatest ever.

They should have lost to Notre Dame. If Matt Lienhart doesnt fumble USC loses that game. Then if the refs didnt screw Notre Dame when Reggie Bush pushed Lienhart into the end zone Notre Dame wins, and ESPN isnt talking about all this BS about how USC is the best team ever, because they arent.

If its just '05, I don't think they have been all that overpowering either.

I think it is great. USC already has it wrapped up according to the national media, nobody has said anything about the Longhorns. I dont think Texas could have asked for a better situation, USC has everything to lose seeing how everyone already has them labeled as one of the best teams of all time. IMO most of those teams they have been compared to would destroy this years USC squad.

I agree 100%
ESPN wants USC's cock
