i dont understand how some of these fucks are allowed on the road. i was leaving JITB and hit the red as i was comming out. heading in the other direction was an R6 sitting there revving waiting for the light to change. then i look next to him and its a riced out celica, thats when i realize this fool probably doesnt even have a license. hes wearing some nikes, jeans a tshirt and a helmet but thats about as safe as he got. light goes green moron drags his feet threw the intersection with the back end washing out and he damn near goes down hes trying to hard to to beat this celica. i just dont see how people like this are allowed to ride. sorry had to vent, its people liike this that give people like us a bad name :mad:

I'm guilty to, I do the same thing in the Summer time riding to work. But now I have a jacket and I always wear that. When I first got the bike I didn't have the jacket. But never anything crazy. Plus my trip to work is only 1.2 miles.

Road rash can really fuck up your knees, legs, and elbows. In the summertime I will at minimum be in blue jeans, gloves, my riding jacket without the insert in it, and a helmet. Sure it gets hot...thats why you keep moving.

well ive riden in shorts and skater shoes before but it was like 100* out and i still wore my jacket gloves and helmet, not that it would have helped my legs any. i was more refering to the way he was riding and the whole reason behind it being that he wanted to beat this celica off the line. BTW the celica won lol.

that how i am now and why i made this post, but several months ago when i first started riding i was quite the typical squid for a few weeks. till the first time the back tire got loose on a downshift and i decided it was time to treat the machine with some respect instead of as a toy.

Yeah. I think we all go through some squid days. I had a few and it wasn't to fun.
