My buddy just bought his 05 636 3 months ago before  Going to church in a hurry and hitting a corner to fast and lost it in the rocks. He said the bike flipped side ways over and over. He was slighty hurt but for the the bike, it needs all new fairings and a few other items. He was very lucky but the bike will be down for a few months. Be careful to all

Hope he's OK. Fairings and other stuff can be replaced, body parts aren't so easy. Was this his first bike?

damn that sucks to hear. Like evil said, faring is replaceable but the body parts are the killer. :(
We have a couple of really slippery corners around here, no matter what time of the day or weather its really slippery. I take the corner really slow off the gas and no brakes. Casue thats is one of my fears is laying down on a turn. After we had all the ice and it had warmed up alittle I went riding and all that damn sand was still out there. Bad idea, I didn't last long and went straight home.
hope your friend heals soon, never a good story to hear about another rider going down.

Well he was all dressed for church , he said it tore his suit all up . He said his dress slacks were just hanging by threads. The helmet had the worst of it! He has had a bike before but im sure he was alittle rusty to take it as fast as he did. Tamestang you did not get a chance to ride with, im sure it would have been fun.
