Suzukis are good bikes but just be careful when buying one, especially an older one just because Suzukis are some of the most popular among the younger, less experienced riders. Just to clarify, im not calling all Suzuki riders squids, im simply stating that when most kids are looking for their first bike, the only word they know other than motorcycle is "gixxer" so naturally thats what they want/get. Just try to make sure it was well taken care of. Suzukis are solid bikes as long as they are maintained

Well the bike is only costing me under a grand... All of it is ther the only catch is it has a salvage tittle...

I would save up and get somthing that might be more reliable...granted it might be under a grand...but u might end up having spend or a grand in the long run fixing it up

So I go to pick it up fri day... Why Im getting the bike so cheap is b/c, the guy who owned it rode a willy on it to high and hit the tail on the ground... Well the value of the bike is like 4300 the insurance said... The total cost to fix it was 7900 dollars... The reason I want the bike is b/c my friend has all the parts to fix it and he's giving the taill frame and all the plastic and seats for 100 dollars... Now what do u guys think about that...

Right. 929/954 and f4i are some of the best bikes. I have a gixxer and i want one of those, haha. But i would def. take it to someone before the purchase. Just to be sure.

Yep, I've owned my fair share of fuel-injected Gixxer 750's and 1000's and LOVE the hell outta my 954 I've got right now! I was always a Suzuki guy, and I think I've owned 5 or 6 of them over the past 3-4 years, and I feel as if my 954rr is my favorite bike I've had so far.
