The new ZX10 is going to be fast as hell all over again. I read the major improvement is the upgraded fuel system and increased mid range and I always thought my midrange was awesome. My 04 runs consistant 117-118.5MPH 1/8 miles BONE STOCK. I'm wondering if the new bike will do 120???? If I sell my bike, we will see because that's what Im getting. ;)

why in the hell are they using the S housing with a 60-1 wheel if they only want to make 400 hp? I would think there would be much smaller and lighter alternatives, that would be much easier to package, but oh well. Nice welding by the way........ :rolleyes: those guys must be proud.

What, are you guys scared of big turbos? Potential, and lower intake temps for the same HP are the benefits....

"big" turbo is a term much like "big" camshaft...............which usually means way mismatched for the total package and power under the curve will show it. That same inlet wheel in a standard b inlet housing will make over 500 hp on a 302, why deal with the headaches of the S housing in the tight spaces of a bike.

Lower intake temps at same HP output. Large turbo for these apps usually means more power under the curve. Lots of smaller turbos dont even get into their efficiency ranges until over 20psi.
Most all bikes have some sort of pipe welded to the comp housing, being that its so tight because of the header location. I have a smaller piece welded on my gt35r, I dont know why they went all the way up on that pic. Probably prototype and not finished product my guess. Im not promoting this stuff either, so the price tag isnt my biz. Just posting some pics of a zx10 turbo kit, yo.
