I don't like him either, but it was pretty funny when he called Canadians "pinko commies" after they didn't stand for our National Anthem after 9-11 at the Montreal vs whoever game. I say good for Crosby. He's a stud, plain and simple. The Pens have ZERO leadership on their team with Super Mario gone. If a "youngin" can step up to the plate and show he's a leader and deserving of an "A" then more power to him.

And for 636Ryder's reference to making rank in the military, you're a retard. It might be like that where you are, but don't stereotype.

I dont think he deserves the A, hell, no one on that team right now does. Crosby is doing good this season, but he isnt the end all save all for that team. With all the hype he had he should be scoring a goal in every game, if not 2 or 3, and the only good thing he does vs Ovechkin is pass. The other players around the leagues have already started to stop his plays and when and if he ever tries to showboat in the NHL , Im sure there will be someone to crosscheck his little ass back down to earth. As far as Don Cherry goes....what kinda name is Don Cherry ? sounds like a fruit cake, hell he looks like a fruit cake with those suits. Leave it to a old school canadian to make the rest of his county look like dumbasses ! Im glad that all canadians arent like him... with as many that I play hockey with I only know about 2 that talk with the " eh and oh, the aboots and agaenst " and they think Cherry is a god. These are the same people that eat Kraft Dinner ! lol :D

Well, the whole coaching staff was either fired or play a lesser role in the organization now, the big-name traded players (Recchi, Leclaire, etc.) are doing next to nothing.... cosistantly, and the real leader of the team is benched with heart issues, among other things. Crosby has shown that he can play and that he desires to win. Is he a leader? Only time will tell, but with the way things are going right now with this team, this is the best of a worst case scenario. Crosby is like 19th in points right now in the entire NHL. Yes, the season is young, and we still have to see how he holds up, but he more than deserves to wear the "A".

Don't know where your stationed, or where you were stationed. This personally hasn't happened to me either. However it has happened to several people i have met. So if in fact something has happened, its not stereotyping now is it?
