Im trying to decide between Fieldsheer and Alpinestars. I have a Fieldsheer 1pc suit right now that Im selling because its one size too small for me. I found a great deal on an Alpinestars SX-1 1pc suit. Its my size and retails for $1100, but I can get it for $610 shipped. Its either that suit or the Fieldsheer I found for $530 that retails for $800 and they are throwing in a set of brand new sliders ($50). The Fieldsheer is perforated and the A-Star isnt. What do you guys think?

I like the Alpinestar stuff better.
BUT, with the heat in Texas, I'd probably choose the perforated one!!

Why do you like A* better? Have you had experience with either, or is it just the name?

i have 2 friends that have had problems with alpinestars suits falling apart pretty easy in crashes. both were new suits this year with the off center zipper. no perforation in the summer is gonna suck.

I don't know which one is better but perferated would be my choice. I was out at oak hill in the high 90's weather tearing it up hard as I could for a good 20-30 session and stayed pretty cool.

I now have two Fieldsheer suits in my possession but I have owned:
AGV (2)
Teknic (2)
Joe Rocket

I was given two Fieldsheer Revo suits (Thanks Motorcycle Unlimited!) to try out back in November at MSR and I must admit I was impressed.

Good fit, good ventilation, appeared to be well put together, and they were immediately comfortable. The suppleness of the leather was the most suprising, usually suits in this price range don't exhibit this level of quality.

I cannot comment on their long term durability but so far I'm impressed.
