What shoes/boots do you wear to ride in? I need something in black that's preferably under $100, that could be walked in relatively comfortably.

i wear sidi race vertebras. not cheap, but if you've ever seen pics of screwed up ankles you might think twice before getting cheap ones.

I wear GBX's. Cost exactly $100. Zip side and comfortable as hell.

I like the AlpineStars. Usually I ride with my New Balance sneakers.

I dont like A-Star boots because some of the nice ones have the metal heel-plate on the outside and it can really fuck up your swingarm

Good work. Have fun getting your foot torn off when you lowside and your ankle gets pinned between the bike and the pavement

If I am going to be doing any kind of hard riding or riding for a long period of time I will put the alpinestars on. I can shift smoother with them on too. Feels really good.

I feel more comfortable in regular shoes, but I know boots are more protective. I used to wear shoes riding, but now I always at least wear my Bates

Yeah. I try to wear my boots as much as possible but there are just some places where you can't walk in with motorcycle boots. I've seen video and I know what can happen though. I think it might have been posted here but a guy on a blue R1 went down doing a stunt and it tore his foot in half it looked like and his bone was sticking out. It was nasty but if it had boots I bet that wouldn't have happened.

those look very comfy, are they waterproof? Also oil resistance? Casue I need some good work boots and be able to ride home in with no problems. Right now I'm wearing my timberland and the leak alittle.

They are red wings, I have stomped in alot of puddles, ridden in alot of rain, and kept dry feet, but I'm sure they have models that are geared a little bit more for "waterproof" duty.

Red Wings make great boots, They've held up better than any I've had so far that I can recall.

I'm using these Icon Super Duty Boots. Pretty comfortable, probably a little safe than the Doc's I was wearing before.

Those would actually go great with the raven paint scheme Jose. Where's you get 'em and how much?
