Cartman, I have an Arkansas Razorbacks football question for you

maybe becasue there is no money in it, they try to schedule texas after last year and texas turned them down for a home and home. why did texas turn them down? Arkansas tries to schedule at least one big school if not 2 a year before sec play begins. just not too many teams want to line up with anybody from the sec. usc did this year and next but that was signed before the texas series.

See, I heard differently. I heard that Frank Broyles is too scared that if they lost, they'd loose funding and so he won't sign off on it as long as he is there. Pretty shadey if you ask me.

Also, isn't Arkansas St. going to a bowl game and Arkansas isn't? :confused: :p

your point? arkansas has alot of new players they will be ok next year. but if you look at who they tried to sign to play the list goes from ut, usc, miami, wolverwines, even tried to get A&M. but most of them didn't want to schedule a bigger school so early in the year.

I think Texas had bigger plans in mind when they passed over unranked Arkansas for #4 Ohio St. Just a guess.

yea after they got beat at home they told arkansas no thanks for the renewal for 2007 and 2008 texas doesn't want to play any sec team unless they have to, god knows what playing vs a good d does to a teams morale

Stop it! You know everyone from Arkansas considers Texas a rival. The two programs ( as of late ) shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath............or the same thread. Until Nutt is gone.............it will still be tough for Arkansas to compete for a title! You keep going back to one game! The lifetime series is 55 for us and 21 for you guys. So..............unless you are planning to win the next 34 in a row........let it go, with the one game fluke story!lol

That's a nice try..........but you & I both know, Mack's a better coach, and has his program in alot better shape right now! Regardless of the series record! I have nothing against Arkansas ( see I even use a capital A when typing their name, unlike a&m, or oklahoma ) Just think, you guys have b-ball to look...............oh, forgot that's been struggling as well..........where is Todd Day, Corey Beck, Scotty Thurman and big nasty when you need em'! lol :D

nutt and mack brown have played 3 times that i know and nutt owns a 2-1 including the cotton bowl. again I like texas, not vince young though. it just got unbearable with all the people on here with the way they talked about all the other teams that I am rooting for them to fall now. two of best friends are texas alums and we watch the games and cheer them on all the time but even they laughed when they read some of this stuff from people that haven't a clue about who vince is.

not an excuse, they will be fine next year, might not win more than 7 games but then again they play in the hardest conference year in and year out. :p
