2002 GSXR 1000: Which oil to go with

Well, I 've gotten into another bike. I want to do a fresh oil change and want to know what oil you guys use? House oil, aftermarket, synthetic...?

Riding habits: usually just cruise around but like to get on it every now and then. TIA

6k, but the prvious owner was pretty hard on it I assume from all the mods on it.

Yeah, you can use fully synthetic. And Amsoil is the brand i used on mine. I forgot some of the other brands. When i had my Honda, i used Honda synthetic, and of course all the Yami owners use Yamalube. I have heard of people using Those oils in their other brand bikes.

Have only ever used Mobil 1 synthetic. Never had any problems with all the bikes I have had.

I use nothing but synthetic on my coupe, I should just stick with what works.

If you use synthetic make sure it's NOT the "Energy Conserving" type oil (so your wet clutch doesn't slip)

like mobil 1 car oil??? I have always used regular bike 10w-40 and changed it and the filter every 1500 miles.
