anyone else think god is an alien?

This is probly a repost but i was wondering if any of you have ever read the bible and thought of the possibility that god could be an alien? Many of the things that iv'e read in genisis seem like they could easily be done with the right technology. And if you read the whole bible, it's almost as if god learns from some stuff that goes on. (and if he was god, he woulnt learn cause he'd already know it.) at least thats what i gather. what do you think?



oh one more thing. i also have a crazy ass bullshit theory. WHAT IF... Jesus Christ was sent back in time to die for our sins, but when he tried to go back to his own time his space ship crashed in new mexico in 1947, and thats what the govenment has been hiding, cause they know it will cause religious upheaval. again, i dont actually believe this crap, but i cant stop my mind from dreaming up stuff.

Actually, by definition, god IS an alien, since he's not "from" the earth.

Some think that Ezekiel's visions in the bible are actually is a description of an alien ship landing.

But yes, to a group of ancient sheep herders, a modern man would appear nearly god like. Certainly a lifeform a little more advanced than ourselves would be viewed as divine.

But then again, the first time primative man saw lightening strike, or a huge storm, the concept of religion was born.

well i always thought that even if I was presented with the real god, my first reaction would be " that guy is a space alien" not "that's god"

Christ died for our sins and is the only reason we are able to stand before God on the day of judgement. He did not crash in in Roswell.
