I keep hearing of people replacing milk in their diets with soy milk. But from what I can see, good ol' skim milk is much better for you. What's the deal?

soy protein is much easier to digest and soy milk all together has more vitamins.

Soy milk contains high levels of plant estrogen, If you switch, only drink it about 3-4 times a week, otherwise you're ingesting too much estrogen. Infant boys who were fed soy milk in conjunction with mother's breast milk showed signs of female-like characteristics by puberty. (wider hips, higher voices, man-tits... etc...) Sorry, I don't have a link, but we discussed the pros and cons last semester in Biology (UNT)... Personally, I don't see the benefits of switching, unless you're lactose-intolerant. :)
