View Full Version : What do '03 '04 Cobras run?

In the 8th? I'm trying to set up some races. Some stock, some with ported blowers, some with prochargers and Kenne Bells. There's gonna be some serious Cobras at the NTN GTG Dragshow on Saturday. Post up if you have info.

I would guess around 8.4's-8.6's STOCK....poor IRS.

depends on the driver, a good one could do prolly low 8's stock. a good driver should be able to run mid-high 12's in the 1/4 with a stock one

if they're going out there with kenne bell's and prochargers hope to god they still don't have the IRS and trying to launch hard.


we may see more down time then racing...

that irs will take a beating it you throw in the bad ass halfshafts and irs girdle. there was a guy running low 10s with that setup in mod motor at ffw.


my car stock cobra on street tires did a best of 8.3 in the 1/8 and 12.8 in the 1/4

with pulley and chip still on street tires did a 7.8 in the 1/8 and 12.1 in the 1/4

im nice on the car off the line so i roll off idle.

mine went 8.0@93 with just intake and exhaust with the IRS...6.88@100 with the built solid axle and the bolt ons. 1.62 60'

I ran a 7.96 @ 92.5 with a 2.07 60ft. I suck at driving though. That's at 3880 lbs with me in the pig :eek:
