i have been looking online but all i am finding are packets to order and study with then just go take a test, anyone know if there is more to it than this?

yes ACE, american council of exercise, local club told me this is the one to get!

ACE is the one to get if you want a national accredited certification.
A lot of local clubs recognize Cooper's Institute as well.
This is where I am certified through.
It's very well taught and you will actually learn some important aspects to training and dieting,
if you actually listen and read your manual.
