So, a friend of mine decided he was going to start taking D-bol sometime last month. I however am only taking protein, multi vitamin, and fish oil. Well, that fact that he is taking d-bol is doing just as much for me as it is him. I've been pushing more weight, harder and longer in the gym since he started LOL. Guess I'm just working harder to keep up with him. Got a new high on bench too - 235 for 4 reps. :D

What exactly do you consider dbol, and how much is he taking? And does he even go to a weight room?

dbol alone will net you nothing. it will all be water weight which he will lose post cycle. especially if he does not do a proper post cycle regimen. way to go on staying natural and getting gains the old fashion way. most people that use AAS can get similar results in the gym with diet, rest, and training. tell your friend to add 0.5mg arimidex daily for his own good...as well as 500mg test enanthate weekly for 10wks.

ruffdaddy - He's in the gym as much as I am. He's my lifting partner. He said it was Dbol so as far as I know its Dianabol, which would be some type of steroid as far as I know.

dav - I'm not sure about his cycles, I haven't been that nosey about it. I'll be sure to pass on the info though!

good job on keeping up with him. he will gain strength, but he will loose it as soon as he goes off cycle. plus, you wont get bitch tits(gyno) by doing it naturally.

He weighed in last night on the gym's scale at 147 or so.

147 benchign 235 lbs? does he have any leg mass? or all upper torsoe? and how much were you dead lifting off him? if that is 100% clean reps with no help. thats pretty impressive.

At 147lbs he needs to save his money (and testicles), and just eat alot of clean carbs/protein for a few months to pack on a few natural pounds. Squeze has it's place, but neginners have absolutely no place taking them for at minimum the first 1-2 years. As oyu've proved, progress is relatively easy in the beginning, even naturally, tell him to save the squeeze for his first true plateau.

That's a huge amount of test-e for someone at 147lbs. That for sure would make him a water balloon.

I'm finishing up my 3rd year of lifting. Was on a plateau for a while this year.

On his bench set I helped him on the last rep. Hard to say how much exactly, but I don't feel I was putting a whole lot of effort in.

I had to rack the weight after my 3rd rep and restart for my 4th because I was losing concentration. Some guy on the leg press busted ass during my 3rd rep. :o

His legs are pretty thin. I think thats where my ~20lbs (~165lbs) weight advantage on him stems from. I've got him doing legs regularly now.
