i went with a friend. he has a 2001 GMC regular cab 2wd. let me tell ya, that dam thing is freaking quick. he has a 6.0 with some bolt ons, built rear end with 4.10's, full exhuast with stock converters, turbo 350 with a 3800 stall. he has also has a 75 hp wet shot. his best pass was a 7.54@90.6 with a 1.66 short time. on his third nitrous pass, he did his burnout and lost line from the bottle, so the rest of the time, it was all motor. his best on motor was a 8.16@83.? with a 1.77 short. i got to drive it once and i ran a 8.33@81.2 with a 1.77 short, it was the first time i drove it with the new set up. it had a 4.8 and ran a best of 8.3@82 with it. i can honestly say that i really like his truck. we have video, but he has to get it on disc and i will try to get a host for it and post. i will also try to get his dyno sheets scanned too.

well, the only thing i can do right now is post my time slip. not sure how long it will be till i get the video. plus, the people here in Greenville know the truck.

If it is blue, I think I saw it at Redline a couple Sat nights ago, I can vouch for the mid 7's.

it has an M1 cam designed by Shawn Freeze, he does't know the lift/duration though. my friend did a home polish on the stock heads.

The truck is definetly stout. With a big converter and a bigger shot theres no telling how fast it will go.

that is a fast truck, i remember riding in it when it first got the 6.0L put in and it impressed me. but i think since its already on a 75 shot running 7.5s its going to take alot to get it into the 6s.

i am sure that you rode in it before the tune. since the tune, it runs MUCH better

yeah, me and him used play all the time when he got it. he got that truck like two days after i got my V6 stang.

i will need to get him back over here so i can scan them. he dynoed something like 334 or something on motor and 443 with the 75 shot. he also bumped it to a 125-150 and it was running TOO lean, but it still dynoed at over 500hp, he said.

I'm very very proud of this man. I remember when he first started hanging out with us. One of those guys who didnt know a damn thing. But he has perseveared(sp) and knows his goals. He hold to his word. there is way to many nice things i can say about doug. way to go bud keep it up.

yeah, i am proud of him too, he gotten so far with that thing. he has been doing alot research, though, he still has alot to learn and farther to go with it :D

i am sure that you rode in it before the tune. since the tune, it runs MUCH betteryea i did ride in it before the tune but i still think its going to be hard to go from a 7.5 (11.66 1/4) to a 6.99 (10.86 1/4) by just going from a 75 shot to a 150 shot

well, i don't know, but, it will help. hell, he is talking about a 200 shot, and i told him to not worry about that. start small and work your way up.

Well this morning my wife totaled out my little blue s10 pu at 635 and jupiter at about 6.45 a.m.So now for alittle while my blazer will be a daily driver that will not see track any time soon.She caused one hell of a traffic jam,it was backed up all the way past 80 and had 80 backed up to beltline. :mad:

She said her neck was killing her this morning and she has a seat belt shaped bruise on her and her knee is swolen alittle.But she is tough and will be ok.
