View Full Version : Mavs vs Spurs tonight

I know the Spurs are the cream of the crop, but if there was a chance for Dallas to show what they're made of, this is it. I hope to be more impressed than what I saw during the 1st two games.

I agree with the announcers Michael Finley really does look weird in a Spurs uniform.

the spurs just cant make any shots :mad: that better change in the 2nd half or this will be a huge upset :D :D

Spurs looked horrible but they're still the best team in the league. I'm not too worried.

What a freakin game. Devin Harris turned it up in the 4th and the MAVS WIN 103-84.

Oh, and the Mavs showed a lot of resolve. They had an 11 pt lead and the Spurs went on an 11-0 run to tie and the Mavs didn't crumble.

Sweet! What happened in the game? I didnt get a chance to watch it. Zyoul8r is probably correct about them just having an off night, but hopefully the Mavs can build on this.

Awesome game! Nice to see the Mav's step up and Dirk getting more physical (wonder what Barkley had to say about that!). Mav's free throws better improve, what the hell happened with that? Howard is really improving and Harris really stepped up in this game especially in the 4'th Quarter. The Mav's played some really good defense last night I thought.

It was close for the first half and Dallas closed with an 8-0 run to lead by 6 at that point. Dallas built up an 11 point lead in the 3rd quarter before that 11-0 Spurs run I mentioned. Then Dallas turned around and scored 7 straight and went on something like a 20-3 run and S.A. never got closer than 10 the rest of the way. Devin Harris hit a 3 with about 2 seconds left in the game to close out his perfect night. He had to shoot because the shot clock was going to expire before the game ended.
