View Full Version : Windows XP 64bit Pro

How many people are using this OS?
I just installed it and it "feels" alot faster and smoother than the 32bit version.
I have yet to install any games, but FarCry 64bit will be first.

Also what virtual drive software works with 64bit? along with what anti-virus works with 64bit?

AVG and Daemon Tools/Alcohol don't work with this OS.

Also, I'm contemplating dropping this OS and going to Server 2003 x64, anyone using this aswell?

I had it install and only saw a different in boot time. really quick boottime. They have some vir drive program but you have to mount the drivers then the iso, its really wierd. Only anti virus i saw that worked was like norton anti virus corp 10.5 or some shit.

Well for the anti-virus I am using Avast, as I didn't want to use Norton...

I don't really need any Vir drives yet, as i'm only testing this OS, so far I seem to like it but it feels just like the 32bit version.
I'm going to install FarCry to see the 64bit content but thats about it.
After that i'm giving FC4 64bit a go, once I hunt down all the right drivers..
