Got it for the xbox. A buddy and I were playing co-op split screen and it wouldnt let us select a troop type. We were playing the gallaxy conquest as rebels and it made us be plain rebel soldiers in every battle, exept space....then made ou be rebel pilots. Kinda strange, but all in all the game kicks ass.

On the PC Verison, in Conquest, you have to 'purchase' the other troops. You have to buy the bonuses too.
This game cant hold a candle to F.E.A.R.

When you are moving your fleet to different planets, you can hit L1 to buy cheats, or R1 to purchase troops.

Most exellent......thanks Jester......looks like i'll be geeking it up with the rebel sniper all night tonight. Do you know if you can buy different ships too? I'd like to see a few different starfighters thrown in.

No, those are all you get. I just finished 'The Birth of the Rebellion' in the Galactic Conquest. That was badass.
