Yesterday I get home and the dsl will not connect, it says there is no connection. Well I uploaded aol on dial up and it works. I cant figure it out, any suggestions, even went and bought a new router today and it says can not make a connection.

So, it is your router/modem to the ISP that is not getting a link? If so, they are the only ones that can help you if the hardware you're using is good.

If it is your PC to the gateway, that is a different story.

I have no fucking idea!! I dont know a whole bunch about this stuff is there a way that I can find out?

Ok I went to sign into MSN just a minute ago to copy and paste the error message, which is through Verizon and I dont have the modem hooked up I just have it set up for dial up and now it let me go through I am just not using the modem and its not very fast, this makes no sense to me.
