View Full Version : Can you use USB with ISO files?
I know this is a computer question, but honestly, I doubt anyone looks at that section after midnight. But I was doing a search for installing programs from an ISO file without a CD and came across stuff about USB installation with ISO files. I couldn't find a great answer explaining the process, so I was wondering if anyone has any idea how this works? Please post up if you have any idea what I'm talking about.

people check the computer section after midnight as an FYI, what exactly are you trying to do?

do you mean you have an .iso on your pc right now?
Why not just mount it with a virtual drive like alcohol or deamon tools?

I hate people that put stuff in the wrong forum. No response from me!

I just use ISOBuster. you can view the contents and extract them to a folder. Install it from the folder.

He said he wants to install a program that he has the .iso for. He found something about mounting, I gave him a different option that would be easier for him to do. Works similar to extracting a zip file then running from the folder.
