Just out of the AirForce. I was a F-16 crew cheif and now I'm a C-130 crew cheif for the guard. I Don't have a A&P yet but i do have a Secrect clearance and can do line work, refueling, ect.

General Dynamics Aviation Services located at Love Field is having an all day job fair on Saturday. Check out the add in the Dallas newspaper. It's a Repair Station so you don't need an A & P.

Try there or Jet Aviation(Repair Station as well), Business Jet Center, Signature Avaition, Dalfort Fueling, and as a fueler. I would say try Raytheon Aircraft Services, but they are in a hiring freeze I believe.

if i were you i,d find a new field. i have been in aviation 30 years and work for a major airline in the area. have you been watching the news for the last 2 years? the aviation industry is in the toilet. do yourself a favor and get into the medical field and you wont have to wakeup at 45 one day and find yourself working for peanuts and going to shool again. good luck.

an option, pretty far fetched, but http://www.aviationemployment.com/job-listings/list-jobs.cgi

If you achieve your a&p there are a lot of jobs out there. :)

Try L-3 Communications out in greenville texas. They employ about 5000 people. All aviation related. We pretty much restore old airforce airplanes. A&P a plus but not needed.

Your serch for aviation employment will take you far and wide. So I'll try to help a fellow airman out.

Did the contract thing; Lots of good money, little personal time and NO thanks.
Did the dalfort, and AAC thing yeah I worked in sheet metal too.
Did the AAR thing, (OK sucks)
Did the airline thing 9/11 any one?
Now working in Waco at L-3 with no union(the guy in Greenville will be jealous) overtime is avialible, not mandatory, paid time off, training where needed, and personal satisfaction and recognition.

I did drive from The Colony/ Plano area for a year before moving closer, I will not wake up at 45 and have a problem with my choices.

PM and I'll give you the scoop.
The $$$$$ ain't bad either!!!!!
