Call of Duty 2

Anyone here gettin this on tuesday? The 1st one was awsome, the version for the xbox was pretty gay compared to the computer version. It'll b interesting to see how the 360's version does against the comps.

I haven't gotten it yet. I got FEAR, then went to trade it in and the place doesn't do PC trade ins anymore. I got Civilation 4 instead and its pretty sweet.

Maybe a driver update can fix this.

You gotta appreciate a good story line. This game OWNS everything right now.

First off, F.E.A.R. better fucking win Game of the Year.

Now on to CoD2, well a simple driver update fixed the problems I was having and I'm having a blast playing it. I wonder how good the multiplayer is though.

The mutiplayer is pretty badass. There are a few of maps from the CoD in CoD2. The new maps are pretty badass also, havent found one I dont like yet. Same fast paced gaming though,..tons of fun. Ohh and the weapons seem to have less recoil now, so hitting shit with the 44 isnt so hard.

personally FEAR wasnt all that impressive for me. It was more of a novelty game. It was fun to play while CoD was dying off for CoD2. I honestly dont think FEAR is all that great, but i play for multiplay, and if i want a fast paced game ill play quake 4

i played the first level on xbox and took it back the same day.

Seriously though, try the game in multiplayer on a comp,...there is nothing like it.

I havn't really liked the feel of CoD2. The controls just feel truckish. But past that, it's a pretty immersive game. And you really get a good feel for characters and epic(ness) in the game.

FEAR gameplay is a big more fun, but the storyline is lacking up until it is thrown at you at the end which keeps you from caring as much. The atmosphere is much more immersive than CoD2, which is a HUGE complement.

I just got back from Wally World in Hickory Creek. They had an XBox360 demo with the Call of Duty 2 demo.

The graphics were pretty damn good and player movement was very fluid. Game play was quick and very enjoyable. I could also notice distinct difference in the faces of each of the player bots on my squad. All in all, I rather enjoyed it. However, it didn't blow me away.

I'm thinking that I'm going to buy Project Gotham Racing and Quake 4 for my 360 instead. The trailer for PGR was just incredible. One nice feature is Gotham TV, which lets you watch other players race and has news of the best racers out there.

But the games I'm waiting for are Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter and of Halo3 (of course)
