I just wanted to say way to go Mesquite TNT(Girls U14) for winning the fall waco tournament for the third consecutive year in a row and for going undefeated during tournament play! :D next up the Mesquite spookout tournament this weekend which will also showcase my 7 year old superstar scoring machine Gabriel lopez and the mesquite stingers! :D

Are the U14's playing in the Sony Cup @ Thanksgiving? Sting puts it on every year. It's super competitive, and teams come in from all over the country. It's a HUGE showcase tourney for the college coaches.

It's a HUGE showcase tourney for the college coaches.nope thats sounds like some select tourney? my girls play rec soccer, I'm not interested in putting any of my kids in select and making them commit to that sport only! no parent should do that cause there is never any gaurantee that your kids even going to make it to the pro's but it's more of like a honor thing cause I know alot of kids who went select and came back to rec soccer with the parents saying they just didn't have fun anymore! :( :cool:

I started t-ball when I was 5. They finally kicked me out and made me play kids my age when I was in 6th grade :D j/k... but L.L. baseball was great. Team sport, gotta learn how to win graciously, gotta learn how to take a loss, make friends, share playing time. I just think it's great for kids to play organized sports. I even coached my brother's Junior league baseball team (16 year olds), and it was great helping these kids improve.

Wow. I dissagree. My girls played at a very high level for years, and loved it. I have college player, and a highschool volleyball player. No pro's here, but it sure helps with scholarship money! We traveled extensively, and had a great time!

We traveled extensively, and had a great time!we travel extensively also but like I said I will not make my kids sign some contract to commit without there being some cash behind it! :D my feelings are like this, if my kids are good enough they(scouts and teams) will come looking for them! but only time will tell about the future! :D I can't wait til I get some more of my little ones footage of his skills to make a video with so you all can see for yourself's! :D
