I'm trying to but a mix cd on my xbox to play while I'm playing games.
How do I go about getting a burnt cd onto the console?

It may not read cdr. Some of the drives are picky.

lol, you could always take it out and replace the drive with one that'll read it....but that voids your warranty.

You have to rip the CD to the hard drive then adjust the game to play it.
