The X850 Pro has 12 Pipelines the X850XT has 16 Pipelines..
EDIT:
Does your card have VIVO? If it is a VIVO, it has a little yellow thing next to the power connector can be Seen here (http://www.ixbt.com/video2/images/sapphire-13/sapphire-x850pro-pcie-scan-front.jpg)
AGP or PCI-E ?
What brand is it?
Where did you get it from?
Sorry for all the questions but you may be able to unlock the pipes from 12 > 16 with a simple BIOS Flash. Basically giving you an XT, with slower clock speeds.
See if you your card can overclock to XT speeds which are Memory 540, Core Clock 520. Yours should be at 500/500.
Let me know and I can help you flash it if you want.
EDIT - 2:
I found a guide if your interested peforming this mod, it can only be done if your card has VIVO..

I canceled the order for the pro and got the x850xt for 10 bucks more after rebates.
It's the ATI brand.

No problem, I just like to get the most out of anything i buy, be it volt-mod, overclock, modded bioses, etc.
The X850XT is better than the GT, more on the lines of an Ultra.
When you get it, see if you can clock it to PE speeds, and make sure you get a Silencer installed, those things are great for temps.
Is it an AGP or PCI-E?

It's an AGP unfortunately.
Do I need a different application than coolbits to oc the ati?

ATItool is what most ATI users use.
