what would cause this? i mean its fuel injected so it should fix itself but its not. the past few times ive been on it it has been rich as shit. its founling out the plugs and flooding at idle. should i just say screw the dealer and buy a power comander when i get my slip on next week, or should i let them try to fix it under warranty first? im lost as to what to do and what could be causing this.

any advice is apreciated

I think its a brand new gsxr 600. Hmmm. Fouling out plugs? That doesn't sound like a computer tune problem that a powe commander can fix. Stock tune will never just foul out plugs. I don't really know what it could be. Maybe a sensor has taken a dump on you.

oh yeah my bad, its an 05 GSXR 600

well whatever it is i guess im gona have to take it to the dealer again. this is getting stupid its in the damn shop on a monthly basis. but what i dont get is why its only doing it periodicaly. its kinda acting like carbed motor so im lost but im just gona take it up there and tell them they can either fix it or give me an 06 to replace it im tired of this shit. i know they wont give me an 06 but im gona bring it up anyway.

Definently take it to the dealer 1st. The worst thing you can do is put something else on a ill-running bike. Could be something simple though, like a bad map sensor, tps sensor, leaky air box or something silly like that. Sucks you're havin' so many probs. w/ a new bike.

As lean as most bikes come from the factory you definately need to find out what is wrong.

well it turned out that it was from lack of riding i think. day after i made the thread it was fine and hasnt done it since. i hadnt riden in almost a month when i posted this. im guessing that had something to do with it. or maybe the colder weather just helped it i dont really know. but ive still got almost 4 years on the warranty so if it starts again ill take it up there.

thanks for the help though guys
