Rode the GP today

JC and I planned on meeting at his house early this morning to ride 157 and then come back and put a rough setup on our suspension and then ride it again after that to see if it helped any. Well I was running a little late today so I didnt get there until about 11:00am. We rolled out of his house a little before noon and headed to 157. JC stopped for gas, but I had enough to get there and back so I didnt fill up. We headed out to the GP and it was a great ride. There was a little dirt here and there, but overall it was a blast. At the end there was a cop on the side of the road with a grand am pulled over and a girl sitting there crying on the shoulder. When we passed we saw a teal car in the ditch upside down. I was blown away. Well we turned around to head back to his house and at that time my gas light came on which means I have about 30-32 miles if I take it easy, but since we were at the GP I knew I only had AT MOST 25 miles, probably more like 20. So we head back and passed a few cars. Two of which were a pair of new body Dodge Rams (one yellow, one pewter). JC was in front and passed them and I was following close. The front Ram (the yellow one) decided it would be a good idea to swerve over into me and nearly run me off the road. That fucking pissed me off. I wasnt endangering him at all, there were no cars comming the opposite direction, etc. He blatantly tried to run me off the road. I was in my leathers so I didnt have any thing to throw, so I just gave him the finger and rode off. Well we got to the intersection of 287/157 and I told JC what happened. We headed back toward his house, but we were gonna take 360 to the closer gas station so I could fill up since I already had 10 miles on my light. Right when we were making our left turn onto 360, the yellow Ram cut JC off and the pewter one pulled up beside me and got out and in front of me. I knew who they were, but JC wasnt really aware of it so he stopped. I was behind him so I couldnt really go anywhere. Both guys started yelling, threatening and shit, the first guy in the yellow truck even claimed he was a cop, so I asked to see his badge. He shut up for a second and then started yelling again. So at that point both JC and I were tired of it so he started his bike to leave and both of the guys jumped on him. JC then stood up ready to whoop their asses and they took a step back. Right then he gunned it (almost looping it) and got away. As soon as he took off, the guy in the pewter truck came and took the key out of my ignition (wrong move). So then the lady that was in the yellow truck with the guy calls the cops and tells them the whole story from her husband's point of view. After JC leaves, they claim that I ran them off the road a week ago too (even though I have never been out there in my life) and they just keep rambling on about shit. I just sat there the whole time with my helmet on and face shield down waiting for the cops. Not like I could go anywhere and Im not about to start a fight with 2 guys. They were real rednecks and for all I know they probably had a gun or 2 in their trucks. So the cops pull up and start talking to the guy in the pewter truck and ask for all of our licences. After the guy in the pewter truck finishes his story, they pull me aside and talk to me. I explained to them that YES I was speeding and I passed them in a no passing zone, but they cant give me a ticket for that since they werent there so I really dont care. The guy in the yellow truck actually thought I was gonna go to jail for "running them off the road". Anyway, I go on to tell them about them attacking JC and then taking my key and pretty much holding me hostage. The officer informed me that was carjacking. He told me they had no right to do anything I did but that I had every right to start a fight with them since I would have been defending my property. He gave me my licence back and asked me to fill out a report. I did and right then they took the guy who stole my keys and threw him against the truck, put him in cuffs and then put him in the back of their car. They then called a tow truck to impound the Ram since it was involved in a carjacking. At that point I left and went to go find JC who was somewhere on 360 heading north. I only had about 10-12 miles left on my gas tank so I was hoping for a gas station. I didnt see one anywhere and I was getting really worried. No gas, no phone, no JC, no clue where the fuck I was. Finally I came upon the 360/I-20 intersection and got to a Diamond Shamrock. Gassed up and headed to JC's house. I got there a few minutes after he did and told him what happened.

All in all it was a very interesting day. Stupid rednecks, they cut me off because we passed them and one of them ends up going to jail. :rolleyes:

Damn, what pieces of crap those people are! Hopefully someone will shoot one of them for acting that way someday. We don't need people like that around. I would have been hot! Glad the truck got impounded and the person arrested. I would have been tempted to come back and kick the door in on that truck if nobody was around before the tow truck got their. People are crazy.

I had a guy swerve and try to hit me on George Bush late last night, scared me to death! He came VERY close to hitting me, and it was intentional. Some white dude with a hat on sideways and some basketball Jersey. It was I believe a gree late model Malibu, license plate was 345 BDP or maybe BDG? I believe. Anyone wanna get some info for me?:) I know the 345 B is correct, the last two digits might be off though, it was hard to see and I wasnt gonna get any closer!

I had my helmet undone, I was very prepared to smack the guy right in his face with it in one movement, but once JC left I didnt like my odds, especially since I have never been out that way before and I dont know how common it is for rednecks to carry weapons.

I gunned it and waited on the other side of the road for about 10mins then I couldn't wait any longer because I'm not in a position to *ahem* be talking to a cop right now. I waited to see if Chris would come on across the road also. So eventually I made a U-turn and went down 360 to a Car Wash and tried to call Chris's cell. (no answer, he left it at my house in his truck) I stopped 3xs on 360 hoping I would see him. So eventually I went home changed clothes and was about to hop into the Expedition when I see Chris coming down my street all happy and stuff. :D

I gotta pay something that is unpaid and my I'm not entirely legal with this new bike. ;) :D It ate me up having to go but, while sitting across the street watching them and Chris I figured that they just wanted to wait til the cops came so I busted a U and tried to call him on his cell as fast as I could.

I was just thinking last night on the ride home, whoever those rednecks are will probably be pissed off at any riders going down 157. Sounds like they were both hot heads, I'd be carefull riding in that area for a while.

Hey I can't exactly remember if this happened or not but when me, staticX, shs slugur, stallion176, and ccst stang went down 157 did we pass a yellow ram? Stallion is on a black R1 so that would explain thinking bottlerocket had blown by them in the past.
